Greetings Earthlings. A rainy Spring day here in Wisconsin. A total rain out for any productive endeavors on the farm and beyond. I explored Beloit, Wisconsin a bit for something to do, the highlight was a visit to the brand spanking new Beloit Public Library which just opened on Monday. Very Nice! I'm sure the community will enjoy it for many years. Good job Beloit!
After a nice lunch at the Happy Wok which serves up a Yummy spicy garlic shrimp I retreated back to my lodging and took a nap.
The sordid details of my life revealed once more.
Yes I'm bored.

Got Satisfaction?
Oh My! I have not blogged in 6 days!
I've been busy....
All I do is work, eat and sleep - not much interesting to share with you dear readers. Full, productive days that are satisfying on many levels but not all that stimulating for my creative side. The hours fly by fast.
The weather has been a bit challenging the last 2 weeks. Cold - windy - rainy. It did reach 80 on Friday but 30 mph winds didn't make it that enjoyable given I was working in the middle of a very large field all day. That's how it goes on the farm in the Spring....
Nothing is really work unless you would rather be doing something else.

Spring Storm
Rained out today. I've got the day off! Been busy on my annual Spring Farm Tour - all is well in Green County, WI though a little wet at the moment. I'd also like to report the first corn seeds of the season were planted on Saturday, April 18. A milestone that I try to keep track of year by year. Last year no corn corn planted until May 1.
The Weather Channel tells me after today a dramatic change will take place bringing some much warmer temps (80's?) for later in the week. Much preferable to our current high 30's and rain mixed with snow.
So what is J.K. going to do on a rainy day in Wisconsin? Log on again soon for answers to this question and more.......

10,000 Hours
I listened to a radio interview recently with an author whose book explored mastery of the arts. The details are vague but one value he proposed was 10,000 hours of time spent doing an activity for mastery.
It got me thinking what I have done for 10,000 hours cumulatively.
1) Sleep
I'll add to the list when needed. I don't count things like breathing and hearing.

Brutal Wind
Good evening from snowy Wisconsin. Yes it's snowing! More like a snow rain mix - not nice at all. I've been working outside all day the last week and have been freezing my little ass off. The wind has been brutal here. Sometimes ya gotta tough it out when you work on the land....

USS New York
The ship pictured in my last post was the USS New York which was built from the scrap of the World Trade Center. . A fact that needed to be revealed. Great website via my link. The engines for the vessel were made in Beloit, WI.

Fools Finale
Though I'm many miles from home in a strange but familiar land that foolishness is often misunderstood, to my vow I be a fool on the final day of foolery. Fools Week has been an experience that will soon be forgotten. A time of fear and loathing, radio related neck injuries, nude modeling, radio antenna experiments, pleasure points lost and found, and new nutritional supplements explored in foolish abundance. When you hear the word Narcissistic Personality Disorder jump up and down and scream real loud.
Please.
Its a shame I had to leave out the weird but true experiences of my life. Fools Week was pretty tame by In Back of Beyond standards.
Day 7 - Public Foolery
I just need to be me! The thought had been ringing in my head all day. Is being wrapped naked with 42 feet of wire and a crate loop radio antenna on my head, listening to Radio China International and nursing from a bottle of Similac baby formula a bit unorthodox?
Yes?
Why?
A decision was made to go public and share to the world the good things in life I enjoy so much.
At 1:20 this afternoon I ventured from my research and development facility in downtown Stevens Point to the nearby Stevens Point square for an afternoon of public outreach.
At 1:47 PM was placed under arrest.
Formal charges have yet to be placed. Just had a meeting with my legal team and they assure me I'll be back on the streets in the next few hours. I post this entry on a Blackberry that I stashed in my ass when arrest was imminent. RadioHead works good in jail. Antenna removed by authorities.
Phone needs recharging......
For your eyes only.

Nursing a Fool
Day 6 Similac Advance EarlyShield is the first and only infant formula that has a unique blend of prebiotics, nucleotides and antioxidants — nutrients naturally found in breast milk. Plus, it has DHA and ARA, ingredients shown to help your baby's brain and eyes develop. And Similac Advance EarlyShield is kosher. The product I have is packaged in 2 oz. nipple bottles. Initially I was cutting off the nipple, but now leave them intact, they make dandy spill proof bottles and keep you from drinking the formula too fast. Not suckling from a baby bottle for 45 + years I was a little out of practice. After a few bottles I got my old nursing form back and found it to be comforting. Sometimes when stressed I'll lay myself down with a warm bottle and nurse a bit. The formula mixes well and both vodka and whiskey have found their way into the bottle with pleasing results. The formula is smooth and unique tasting. Palatable and easy to digest - I'm interested in trying some of the other Similac products. Care to join me? Or maybe the real thing? Any wet nurses out there? ** Public nursing? No way! Don't tell anyone either!
Cold and windy. Being Frugal is like a sport for me, I get excited about cost saving and enjoy sharing ideas. Sometimes you just have to be opportunistic. While viewing FreeCycle, a site for finding free junk, I found and claimed 5 cases of Similac baby formula and have been consuming this product for about a week now. Fools Week. Closer than ever to breast milk

Fools Obstacle
The obstacle is the path.
Zen Buddhist Saying
April Fools week is getting tough. The Fools life is full of obstacles. We resume our saga on Day 5 with many secrets of life revealed, in all their splendor! Fair readers of this Blog.
Quite a glimpse into a foolish psyche don't you think?
Another fools tale told..
Testing continues in earnest on my RadioHead. Superior reception last night. I've heard before that dental fillings and various apparatus such as braces and bridges can create a simple radio, much like the old crystal sets. My reception is much more advanced. In order to disprove the dental explanation of this phenomenon I removed all the fillings in my teeth with a screwdriver. No changes in frequency receiving ability.
The antenna is the key to the phenomenon. Most current experimentation is centered on the proper length and alignment of the antenna elements. My physical body appears to be "inductively coupling" with the antenna but many questions need to be answered for any adequate explanation. Mulder and Skully have been informed.
**Best results are achieved when all clothes are removed and 42 feet of #18 speaker wire wrapped around my body. I have not done this the same way twice, can be a very creative process. The Crate Loop is then placed over my head in a position that the tuning capacitor mounted on the front of the unit can be accessed. I wear no clothes because it was found various garments create static electricity introducing noise into the circuit.. The wire around the body which becomes a "passively tuned" loop with the addition of the variable capacitor has a measurable electric charge of its own. The electrical stimulation of the wire when placed on and in various parts of the body create interesting and pleasurable sensations worthy of its own independent study.
**Testing continues...... Low sunspot activity has been creating some unique radio propagation opportunities.
*** In Back of Beyond recommends that the information gleaned from its pages be used for recreational purposes only. No animal testing performed today...
**** Never touch antenna's when transmitting! Serious danger of electrical shock........

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Lets start out with some information about a psychological disorder :
Narcissistic personality disorder is a condition characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, need for admiration, extreme self-involvement, and lack of empathy for others. Individuals with this disorder are usually arrogantly self-assured and confident. They expect to be noticed as superior. Many highly successful individuals might be considered narcissistic. However, this disorder is only diagnosed when these behaviors become persistent and very disabling or distressing.
Complications:
Vulnerability in self-esteem makes individuals with this disorder very sensitive to criticism or defeat. Although they may not show it outwardly, criticism may haunt these individuals these individuals and may leave them feeling humiliated, degraded, hollow, and empty. They may react with disdain, rage, or defiant counterattack. Their social life is often impaired due to problems derived from entitlement, the need for admiration, and the relative disregard for the sensitivities of others. Though their excessive ambition and confidence may lead to high achievement; performance may be disrupted due to intolerance of criticism or defeat. Sometimes vocational functioning can be very low, reflecting an unwillingness to take a risk in competitive or other situations in which defeat is possible. Individuals with this disorder have special difficulties adjusting to growing old and losing their former ?superiority?.

RadioHead
Day 3 -Friday Foolishness
I've been putting my newest radio acquisition the Degen de1103 through extensive field trials and am quite impressed with this compact receiving gem recently imported from China. Superlative sensitivity and selectivity across the broadcast band and beyond.... On the FM side results pushing the limits of imagination. While scanning the dial the Degen tuned an FM transmitter signal connected to the webcam of an exquisite Stevens Point High Sophomore with an attitude. You go Girl! Though a personal meeting would not be wise or legal, I propose we rendezvous in 3 years - How about it?
Medium Wave (AM) reception equally stunning! Coupled to my 4885 yard long tuned antenna solid night time DX including local Polynesian programming and routine strong signals from Chinese and Russian pirate stations.
The Degen de1103 is a technological marvel but in a radio antenna experiment gone awry I may have found a way to make standard radio's obsolete. While stringing wire around the perimeter of my office I stumbled and fell face first into my Crate Loop and wound up on the sofa with wire wrapped around my hard body and my head inside the passive tuned loop of my own creation. It was then I heard music. My head became a radio receiver. With coordinated movements of facial and sphincter muscles the tuning of most the AM band was achieved and decent volume control possible with just opening and shutting my mouth.
I then tried transmitting. Much to my surprise I began transmitting an ELF signal (Extreme Low Frequency) and began communication with Submariners cruising beneath the Artic sea ice.
That communication is available in transcript form for those with proper Security Clearances. Details available at www.InBackofBeyond.com

April Fools Week
April Fools day is so damn fun I've decided to extend the "foolery" an additional 6 days and make it an honest week. Why? Because I'm a fool for fun.
Let's Begin Day 2!
After a brief layoff I've resumed my modeling career and had my first studio session in 8 months this morning. All went OK which was miraculous given a slight hangover and some lingering effects from the 4 Viagra's that I've medicated myself with the past 3 days. This was a nude session, as is most the work I get. Nothing sexy or erotic about being in a cold room with bright lights blaring in my face posing artistically for about 20 women and a few men. It can been pretty demanding. I've done about 110 sessions and not much phases me anymore. No complaints, I get what I deserve and have no qualms that I legally whore myself out for phat $cash$ -and like it. I was told once, "from the neck down your quite the specimen" My reply.
I Know.
Only let one fart the whole hour and a half!
More later.......
Gotta meet my pal HotForWords for Lunch in 10.

Pointed Foolish Fear and Loathing
The wind blows cold in this small Midwestern college town. Thought about putting my long underwear on this morning but changed my mind last minute. Yes it's that cold. Feeling bored, depressed and horny despite having; lots to do, all my wishes having been realized, 2 cases of beer, some killer w__d, a liter of Makers Mark Whiskey, $922 dollars cash, a Viagra 4 pack with 2 missing (consumed last night) , 4 brand new Shortwave radio's, an iPod, 4 guitars, a Mandolin and a Banjo, and a very large ego -amongst other things that don't really matter.
I'm also slightly injured at the moment causing some irritating discomfort magnified by the dismay of it's true cause.
My friends I use the vested powers bestowed upon me by In Back of Beyond and my own imagination to reveal to you.
I hurt myself listening to the radio.
Yes a RADIO LISTENING INJURY!
My neck is really sore from tilting my head to view the display while laying in bed in the wee hours of the morning listening to broadcasters throughout the world.
I hang my head in shame.
Excuse me while I rest upon my warm heating pad.......
Physical Therapy will begin when inflammation and soberness resumes.
Psychotherapy is immediate.
Primal screams optional......
