Safe?

I was pondering Woody's words on my Sunday nature walk this morning. I have not been as adventurous as I usually am this past year or so - playing it safe for lack of better words, though it does not feel that way. I'm undecided whether I'm becoming a chicken shit or just smarter in my old age. Life is still a grand adventure but I know I'm somewhat at a crossroads on the path through this incarnation. The road less traveled has taken me on a unique journey, no complaints, though something seems to be missing and I can't quite put my finger on it.

This "train of thought" surfaces now and again - I've shared it many times in these pages.......
