The Big Dance

The first day of Spring! Yes!!! Not feeling very Spring like this morning however, 15 degree's when I rolled out of bed - Brrrrr....... Noticed yesterday morning the Wisconsin River opened, at least the main channel, the liquid water looked wonderful.

March Madness officially began yesterday, the NCAA Mens B-Ball tournament often referred to as the "Big Dance" by college basketball fans is underway. I love it! Normally I don't watch much of it because I don't own a television, that's not an excuse anymore. NCAA.Com via CBS has live webcasts of all the games this year and it's fucking great! I'll be taking great advantage of this service. You gotta love the internet!

My new shortwave radio (Degen de1103) should be here any day now, the anticipation is mounting. It takes between 10 and 20 business days for packages to arrive from China depending how fast the parcel clears customs. Today is day 10. I HATE waiting for my new toys. Love saving 50 bucks though. Shortwave reception was especially good last night, booming signals from Europe! Listened to some very interesting English programming from Radio Serbia - never heard them before.
